Ayurvedic cure and herbal treatment home remedies for Obesity

 

Eating  food in too much quantities, keep eating something every time, excess use  of  oil and ghee in meals, less work or physical movement, sleeping in daytime, eating food which contain lots of fat etc. ..ALL these things can be the causes of Obesity. Obesity not only destroys the attractiveness of the body, but also sends invitations to many other diseases as well. If necessary steps are taken to control the increase in fat, it not only makes body shapely and attractive, but it also keeps many diseases away from you.

Sometimes, imbalance in thyroid glands and Pituitary glands also causes the accumulation of fat in the body. Due to excess fat, elements of body become inefficient in doing there work. It affects the nourishment of other metals within the body. This  increased fat blocks the inner ways of the body.this causes further appetite in a fat person.  Eating several times and in increased quantities cause imbalance in waat(vata) and pitt(pitta. So, in obese people  there are increased probabilities of being affected by Diabetes, high blood-pressure, piles, asthma(trouble breathing), constipation, indigestion or any other health condition.

In most people Obesity is a gift of today’s modern lifestyle and eating habits. Most of us don’t make changes in our diet according to our age. If a 40 year old middle aged person and a 65 year old elderly person eat the same meal which a 20 year old young guy eats, then it will not get properly digested. Just think- an 18-20 year old young man can’t sit at one place for more than 5 minutes, and a 65 year old senior man cant move from one place for 5 minutes; then how he is going to digest that food?

By following below listed methods of Ayurveda, you can easily get rid of Obesity:--

  1. Put 2 glass of water in a copper pot in night. Next day early morning drink this water before sunrise.
  2. In morning, drink 1 glass of lemon water.
  3. Put one spoonful of honey in cold water and drink it once in a day.
  4. In the breakfast, only eat Cracked wheat (like Bulgar Wheat) or other sprouted food, Gram,  moong Beans, moth beans etc.
  5. In the main meal or lunch, Increase the intake of Green fenugreek, bitter gourd, bottle gourd, green gourd, Spinach and White Goosefoot vegetables in your meals.
  6. Before the meal you can eat the salad of carrot, lotus root, tomato, Cucumber, Beetroot, onion, garlic and ginger.
  7. Don’t drink water for at least 30 minutes after the meal. After the day’s lunch, put some black salt, black pepper and stir-fried cumin and grinded carom seeds in a glass of Buttermilk-cultured and drink it.
  8. Dinner should always be light and easily digestible.
  9. Cut down on sweet intake, or if possible, stop eating sweet at all.
  10. Cut down the intake of rice, potato, Colocasia and all dishes made of white flour and Bengal gram flour.
  11.  Reduce eating sweet fruits like banana, sugarcane, mango etc.
  12.  Reduce the intake of Kidney Beans or Red Kidney Beans and Black gram.
  13. Go for a fast walk every morning and evening for at least 30 minutes.
  14. Before sleeping in night, take one small spoonful of trifala powder.
  15. Drink slightly hot water for at least two times a day.
  16.  Masticate (chew) the food a lot.
  17. At the time of having meal, stop eating when a little appetite is still there. Means don’t eat full stomach.
  18.  If your profession requires you to sit for long hours, then take time to stand and have small walks during your work.
  19.  Always keep your upper back and chest straight while sitting.
  20.  If possible, get dry massage done for your entire body once a day.
  21. Drink at least 8-10 glass of water everyday.
  22.   Always try to be happy.
