- Fennel

Natural therapy for sciatica

  1. Everyday put your legs in hot water for atleast 15-30 minutes.
  2. Put half bucket of water for boiling. Put 30-40 neem( Margosa tree) leafs in it and keep boiling. Put some fenugreek seeds and black salt in this boiling water. Now put this water in a bucket and let it become slightly less hot. Then put both feet in this slightly hot water and put blanket all around the body. Sit in this position for at lease 10-15 minutes. Then take the feet out and wipe them. Do this procedure for at least 1-2 times a week.

 

AYURVEDIC home remedies for sciatica are listed below:--

  1. Put 250 gram of parijat(coral tree) leafs and boil them in 1 liter of water. When the water is reduced to around 700 grams, sieve the solution in clean bowl and put 1 gram of grinded Saffron in it. When this solution is not hot enough, put it all in clean bottle. Eat it regularly in morning and night(quantity around 50 gram) regularly for 30 days. It will provide relief. When its finished, prepare the solution once again.
  2. Take 10 gram ajwain (carom seeds), 2o gram aanwla (Emblica, Indian gooseberry) , 20 gram methi-daana (fenugreek seeds) and 5 gram black salt. Mix them all and grind them properly. Take one spoonful of this powder once everyday.
  3. Eat 2 garlic cloves and some ginger with your meal everyday.
  4. Increase the intake of Green fenugreek, bitter gourd, bottle gourd, green gourd, Spinach and White Goosefoot vegetables in your meals.
  5. In fruits, eat papaya and grapes regularly.
  6. In dry fruits, regularly eat fig, raisin, dry dates and walnuts.
